Hurricane Beryl, now a tropical storm, reached the coast of Yucatán, Mexico, early Friday morning. It is currently weakening on land, with winds reaching up to 85 miles per hour and a "dangerous" storm surge.

However, over the weekend, Beryl is expected to strengthen again in the Gulf, exceeding initial forecasts, and could impact again as a hurricane in northern Mexico or the coast of Texas.
